Graduation Requirements
Below are the graduation requirements for New Life Christian School. These are the courses that must be completed to graduate with a New Life Christian School high school diploma.

Great Works
(6 credits)
This course of study combines one and a half credits of literature and a half credit of history, and will be reflected on the high school transcript accordingly. The first cycle of Great Works begins during the dialectic phase (7th grade), and the second cycle begins at the rhetoric stage (10th grade).
- Great Works III: Modern Period (Cycle I)
- Great Works IV: Classical Antiquity (Cycle II)
- Great Works V: Medieval Period (Cycle II)
- Great Works VI: Modern Period (Cycle II)
Bible and Theology
(4 credits)
- Old Testament Survey
- New Testament Survey
- Christian Doctrine
- This course includes units on hermeneutics, historical theology, and systematic theology.
- Apologetics and Ethics
History and Civics
(2 credits)
- American History
- Civil Government and Debate
- Washington State History
- This zero-credit requirement is generally taken during middle school.
Math
(3 credits)
- Algebra 2
- Algebra 1 is a prerequisite for this course, but it is typically taken before 9th grade.
- Geometry
- 1 Elective (i.e. Probability, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus)
- Students must take one math course during the senior year.
Science

- Chemistry
- Physics
Foreign Languages
(2 credits)
- Latin
- Courses may be offered as 4 half-credit courses or 2 full-credit courses.
Fine Arts
(2 credits)
- Musicianship and Choir (2 ½-credit classes required)
- 2 Electives (i.e., Art, Drama, Music, or Creative Writing)
Physical Education

Standalone Courses
